Concrete Pumping Service
Concrete Pumping Services by Frontier Ready Mix, Inc.
We maintain our own concrete pumps. We have hydraulic rock valve, and mechanical ball valve pumps. Our skilled, professional pump operators will make sure your placement project goes off without incident.
Our concrete drivers and pump crews work together every day. They communicate with each other throughout the pour ensuring there are no problems.
We will never leave a mess in the street or job site. A wash out area is required to be established before we start. Once we know where to clean out, we will begin the pour and washout in that designated area. Our pump operators do not end the pour with a full hopper and leave it for the owner to deal with.
If you’re a contractor, we will make sure your expectations for quality and organization are upheld at all times. We care about your reputation as much as our own.
For the homeowners, you will appreciate the courteous professional service you receive from our operators. Clean equipment and no mess in the street.
If you choose to use our pumps and concrete. The scheduling conflict goes away. We will accommodate your pour. If we are running late for an unforeseen or unavoidable situation, we will call you a minimum of one hour before our scheduled arrival time and communicate our intentions. You will never be charged for pump waiting time if the concrete is late. You will never be charged truck holding time when the pump is late. We work very hard to be on time every time. Occasionally conditions occur beyond our control that cannot be avoided or accelerated. We will do our best to not waste your valuable time or money. We’re contractors too. We understand the value of time, and the cost of an idle crew.
We support our local independent concrete pump companies as well. We will pour with any company of your choosing. If you have a preference or agreement with an independent operator, that’s fine with us. We’re confident that anyone can pump our concrete, but we will only sub-contract our own work to companies that adhere to our strict operating policies.
We make no guarantee that someone not directly contracted with us will adhere to our standards.
We have pumped our flowable fill mix 1400 feet for the City of Dunedin water pipe replacement project.
We have pumped our 3000psi mix 456 feet for a Coastal Construction Company sea wall project in Oldsmar. Two consecutive pours, straight through 2.5” system. Don’t try that with anyone else’s concrete. That’s our standard mix.
That’s as far as we’ve tried so far. In twenty six years we’ve never had to go any farther, but we’ll try if you ask.
We use Schwing Concrete Pumps with our pump service. Our hydraulic line pumps are the BPA 500 models. They are rated to 45cuyds per hour and 1600 feet on the ground. These machines are used primarily for our commercial projects as they require a little more clean up space. They are available for residential high volume work as well such as slabs and foundation pours.
These pumps are of the Rock Valve type and are fully capable of pumping regular rock mixes (#57 stone) as well as low slump mix designs. Ours have wireless remote control and reverse.
The mechanical ball valve pumps are P-88 models. These machines only pump small rock mixes (#89 stone), but are very reliable and capable. The P-88 can realistically pump 18cuyds per hour and is very easy to clean out. These are perfectly suited for smaller volume pours of 30yds or less.
Frontier has 1-1/2”, 2”, 2.5”, and 4” rubber and steel pipe system.
We have steel elbows, reducers, and column clamps for safely pumping vertically.
200’ of system is included in the base set up charge. Pours exceeding 200’will be charged by the foot for the extra flexible or steel pipe system.
